what it does

What does Copilota AI do?

Copilota AI looks at your shop’s data for you and tells you what matters today. Everything happens in the PrestaShop back office, across seven screens.

  • Overview: three health scores (Sales, Catalogue and SEO, Operations) and “What to do today” ranked by impact, each with its own action.
  • Analyses: 33 automatic analyses, with figures calculated from the shop’s data, trends over time, the top ten cases and CSV export.
  • Missing data: how many meta tags, descriptions and alt texts are missing, language by language, with a cost estimate before generating proposals.
  • To approve: the proposals written by AI, which you can edit, approve or discard; every published text can be undone.
  • Ask your shop: questions in Italian about your data, with customer data masked; the answer also shows the query used.
  • AI usage: the cost of each answer and the month against the budget, with an email warning at the threshold.
  • Settings: key or activation code, budget, automatic runs via the server’s cron, daily quotas and exclusions.

Thirty-three analyses in four areas, updated automatically: some every hour, others every day, week or month. The figures are calculated by the database, not by the AI.

What do you need to use the AI, and what does it cost?

The module costs €99 + VAT as a one-off. Writing texts and answering questions require a key from Anthropic, the company behind Claude: usage is paid separately, based on how much you use it.

Is the shop’s data safe?

Analyses run in your database and never leave the shop. When you use the AI, Anthropic receives only what’s needed: for texts, the product’s name, category, brand and features, never the price; for questions, the query results, with customer data masked.

  • Customers’ names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, VAT numbers and IPs are masked before reaching the AI; emails, phone numbers, IPs, tax codes and IBANs even when they appear inside a text.
  • Passwords, tokens and keys never leave the shop, not even masked.
  • A name written in free text that doesn’t look like personal data, for example in a product customisation, isn’t always recognised: it’s a limit we tell you about clearly.
  • The key is stored encrypted and on screen you only see its last four digits; uninstalling the module deletes tables, settings and key.

Frequently asked questions about Copilota AI for PrestaShop

Do I have to use artificial intelligence?

No. Shop health scores, “What to do today”, the 33 analyses and the comparison between two periods work straight away, with no key and no extra cost, because the figures are calculated by the shop’s database. AI is only needed to write missing SEO texts and to answer your questions about the data.

How much does using the AI cost?

The module costs €99 + VAT as a one-off; AI usage is billed separately and depends on how many texts you have written and how many questions you ask. With your own Anthropic key you pay Anthropic directly; with the key supplied by Flag you see the usage in euros in the module. Either way there’s a monthly budget: when it’s reached, chat and new proposals stop.

Can the AI change my shop on its own?

No. It writes only into empty fields, such as meta descriptions, short descriptions and alt texts, and only after you’ve approved the proposal, which you can also edit. Every published text can be undone, one row at a time or by batch. The chat reads the data and can’t change orders, products or customers.

Does it work without Flag Theme?

Yes: it works only in the back office and adds nothing to the shop front, so it runs with any theme, on PrestaShop 8 and 9. With Flag Theme you find it in the Flag Theme menu; with other themes it has its own entry in the back-office menu.

What language does it work in?

The panel and the questions are in Italian. SEO texts, however, are written in the language of each field, for every shop language in which the product already has a name.

Is it a chatbot for my customers?

No: Copilota AI doesn’t talk to your customers. It works only in the back office, for you and whoever runs the shop, and loads nothing on the shop’s pages, so it doesn’t slow it down.
