B2B Registration is Flag Agency’s PrestaShop module that creates a sign-up page for companies and resellers: it collects company name and VAT number, assigns the customer group and alerts the seller straight away. It works on PrestaShop 8 and 9 and costs €29 + VAT.

Why isn’t PrestaShop’s registration form enough for B2B?

Because it’s the same form private customers use: even with B2B mode on, it only asks for the company name and an ID number, doesn’t put the reseller in a dedicated group and doesn’t alert anyone. The reseller signs up and stays an ordinary customer.

What does the B2B Registration module do?

  • A page dedicated to resellers, at the address you choose (for example /b2b-registration).
  • Company name and VAT number in the form, with an optional check that the number is written correctly.
  • The customer lands in the group you decide, so you can apply dedicated discounts and price lists.
  • An email to you with the company’s details as soon as they sign up, and a welcome email to them.
  • The list of requests in the back office, under Customers › B2B requests.
  • Spam protection: limits per IP address and a honeypot field for bots.
  • Privacy and GDPR: consent in the form and a link to PrestaShop’s GDPR module.
  • An accessible page (WCAG 2.2 AA), with errors explained field by field.
  • An optional WhatsApp button, for anyone who’d rather message you before signing up.

Does it work with Flag Theme’s checkout?

Yes: with Flag Theme the reseller’s company details arrive already filled in the checkout’s invoice block, so they don’t have to type them again for every order.

Frequently asked questions about B2B registration in PrestaShop

Can I show resellers different prices?

Yes: the module puts the reseller in a customer group, and in PrestaShop you assign dedicated discounts and price lists to groups. That way private customers see the retail price and resellers see theirs.

Does it check the VAT number?

Yes, if you enable the option it checks that the number is formally valid, using the check digit. It doesn’t query the EU VIES register.

Can I approve resellers myself?

At the moment the reseller is created already active, in the customer group you chose, and you immediately receive an email with their details. If something doesn’t add up, you deactivate them from the back office.

Does the registration page show up on Google?

Not by default, so people looking for your products don’t see it. If you want it to be found, you make it indexable from the module settings and add its description.

Does it work on PrestaShop 8?

Yes, from PrestaShop 8.0 onwards, version 9 included. It’s already installed on client shops running PrestaShop 8.
