The European Accessibility Act in a nutshell
Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act (in Italy, Legislative Decree 82/2022) requires online shops selling to consumers to be usable by people with disabilities too: for example with a keyboard, a screen reader or enlarged text.
Microenterprises providing services are exempt: fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of up to 2 million euros. That’s why we ask you two questions about your company.
This is a simplified explanation, not legal advice: for your own case, ask your adviser.

the maths
How do we work out the estimate?
We start from our price list: fixed-price items become a range, while items that depend on your project stay “to be assessed” with a wider range. Here are the rules.
- Fixed-price items (base, design, data, categories, advanced SEO) have a range of 15% either way.
- Each extra language adds 30% to the fixed-price items.
- If your company isn’t a microenterprise, accessibility adds 70% to the fixed-price items.
- Items to be assessed (product pages, each connection, modules, ongoing social media and SEO) count for €200 to €1,000 each in the estimate.
- The one-off total is rounded to €50: the minimum down, the maximum up.
- Monthly costs are kept separate and shown exactly, because they’re fixed fees: the server has 4 tiers and you move up as soon as you exceed the tier’s products or visits; then support and monitoring, if you choose them.
always included
What does your online shop always include?
Every project already includes these, with no extra items in the estimate:
- PrestaShop installation and set-up with Flag Theme, our PrestaShop 9 theme.
- Payments and shipping set up.
- Basic technical SEO.
- Training on how to use the shop, for you and the people who work with you.
- 1 month of support after launch.
- Advanced CRO: a shop designed to sell.
- B2B: price lists by group and business registration, if you also sell to resellers.
faq
Questions about the quote
How reliable is the calculator’s estimate?
It’s an indicative range, not an offer. It starts from our price list: fixed-price items have a margin either way, while items that depend on the project (product pages, connections, modules) have a wider range. We prepare the detailed quote after a call, once we know your products, integrations and timing.
Do the prices include VAT?
No: all the calculator’s prices exclude VAT, both one-off and monthly. In the detailed quote you’ll find the amounts with and without VAT.
Why are some items “to be assessed”?
Because their cost depends on things we only see by looking at the project: the state of the catalogue, which management software or marketplace needs connecting, which modules you need. In the estimate they have a wide range; in the detailed quote they become an exact price, with an explanation of the work.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Without monthly services you pay a deposit and the balance on delivery. If you also choose monthly support or social media, you can pay part upfront and the rest in equal monthly instalments, interest-free. The calculator shows you the figures for both options.
Does my online shop have to comply with the European Accessibility Act?
It depends on your company. The European Accessibility Act applies to online shops selling to consumers, but microenterprises providing services are exempt. The calculator asks you two questions to see whether the obligation applies to you. It’s guidance, not legal advice: for your own case, ask your adviser.
What happens after I send the request?
A real person from the team reads your choices and gets in touch to arrange a call: we find out what you sell, to whom and which software you use. Then we send you the detailed quote in writing, with the items and timing. Asking for a quote doesn’t commit you to anything.
